Professional Background

Jo joined the firm in 2018. Her experience includes accounting, tax preparation and tax planning for estates and trusts as well as corporate and partnership tax services for clients in a variety of industries including real estate, medical, architecture & engineering and not for profit. She previously worked for PWC providing audit services, tax services, and financial statement preparation for both publicly-traded and privately-held clients in the financial services and insurance industries.

In addition to her experience as a Certified Public Accountant, Jo is a veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps for four years.

Bruce Boylston is the founding partner of Boylston Powers Trago, LLC. His focus is in the area of taxation and management advisory services across a broad spectrum of industries including construction, wholesale, investments, retail and professional services. Bruce graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, and earned his CPA designation in 1983.

Bruce is also an Adjunct Lecturer at Drexel University, School of Engineering and the University of Pennsylvania, School of Social Policy and Practice and serves as an advisor to the Lipman Prize and the Beacon Award which are administered by the Wharton School.

Bruce has worked in public accounting since 1979 and academics since 2008. This background affords a unique set of skills that assist him in the services he provides the firm’s client.

Amanda joined the firm in 2021. Her experience includes individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns. Prior to joining the firm, Amanda worked in a support position for an accounting firm in Chester County.

Professional Background

Charlotte joined the firm in 2022. She began working as an administrative assistant facilitating office needs as well as assembling and processing tax returns, but in 2023 became a staff accountant. She now prepares individual and fiduciary tax returns. Prior to joining the firm, Charlotte worked as office administrator/IT manager for a pest control company.  Previous to that, she worked as a biologist conducting research and development of therapeutic antibodies for use in gene therapy to combat certain cancers.
